Join us for class one of this three-part series (come to one or all three!) where we’ll be starting with a great beginner cheese, Feta, along with Greek Yogurt (not exactly cheese, but similar concept). For beginner cheesemakers this is a great place to start because you won’t need a lot of fancy equipment or special ingredients to make these. We’ll cover three different ways to make your Feta: Dry-Salted, Marinated and Brined. And you’ll be surprised to learn how easy it is to make your own delicious and nutritious Greek yogurt right at home. We’ll tell you how to make good milk selections and cover all the basics of the art and science of cheesemaking. We’ll sample some freshly made cheeses with a nice glass of wine and you’ll go home with some tasty samples.
