Some say that soft cheeses are easy and hard cheeses are hard, but in this class we will learn that that’s not necessarily so! We will start by making a delicious Italian hard cheese that uses simple ingredients and minimal equipment and only needs to age for 3 weeks! Plus you will learn how to age cheeses, wax a mini cheese wheel to take home with you, and find out how to make a cheese press for free!
After we’re done with the cheesemaking part of your experience, it’s time to play with the goats and visit with the wonderful mamas. You’ll get a tour of our farm, check out our cozy milkhouse, meet our cool guardian llama, and then interact with the friendly herd including triplets born this spring.
COVID-19 POLICY UPDATE: Beginning March 1, 2022, in alignment with Boulder County Public Health recommendations as well as our own assessment of the ongoing risks associated with this virus, we have decided to drop our mask requirement at our In Person Classes. We are going to continue to ask that only vaccinated students attend these classes, though, and students are welcome to continue wearing masks indoors if that is their preference. CANCELLATION POLICY: Due to the high popularity of our classes, we often have a waitlist. Please give us as much notice as possible if you are not going to be able to attend so that we can try to fill your spot.

- Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice will only receive a refund if we can fill your spot.
