Description

Join us for one or both days of this weekend cheese and soap making extravaganza! You’ll learn how to make some great cheeses and handmade soaps that are easy and quick to mature, making them perfect for holiday entertaining and gift giving.

We’ll have hands-on fun learning how to make a bunch of easy cheeses including chèvre, fromage blanc, feta, ricotta, mozzarella and queso fresco. After learning the basic recipes and techniques, we’ll go a step further and turn each of these cheeses into a variety of party appetizers and desserts and look at creative ways to package them for gift giving.

We’ll also learn how to make several varieties of homemade, milk-based soaps that are fun and easy and make great holiday gifts. We’ll have a catered lunch onsite on Day One and will celebrate with a lunch at Cheese Importers on Day Two.

You’ll leave with several take-home gift cheeses and soaps.

Day One:

Chèvre & Fromage Blanc
Feta
Handmade Soaps
