Join Certified Cheese Professional, Kelly Liebrock, for a virtual class on Holiday Appetizer & Dessert Cheeses! To begin, she’ll cover two simple cheeses that are quick and easy to prepare with fresh or grocery store milk: Chevre (the classic soft goat cheese) and Quark (a German yogurt-like cheese) which can be ready to eat within 24 hours or so. Then she’ll turn these two cheeses into several delicious appetizers including:
- Queso de Cabra Torte – a cold Spanish layered treat
- Spundekase – a German smoky & garlicky spread
- Fried Goat Cheese – a delicious disc of panko-crusted chevre
Next , she’ll move on to another easy cheese that is made with cream: Mascarpone (a decadent rich dessert cheese) which can be ready to eat within 24 hours or so. And she’ll show you how to make several delicious cheesy desserts including:
- Mascarpone Stuffed Dates
- Pumpkin Spice Chevre
- Chocolate Chevre Truffles
