Description
Join our own Certified Cheese Professional and Cheesemonger, Kelly Liebrock, for this festive, educational and tasty evening at Briar Gate Farm! You’ll learn how to make a simple cheese using ingredients you can get at any grocery store. And then Kelly will take you on a guided cheese tasting where you’ll also learn:
- The basic art and science behind cheesemaking
- The simple ingredients needed and how to source them
- All about milk – the fundamental building block of cheese
- What makes that bloomy rind on your favorite wedge of Brie?
- How do those blue veins get into blue cheese?
- And much more!
Then, at the end of the cheesemaking and tasting portion of this event, you’ll get to go out to our barnyard and interact with our friendly herd of Nubian dairy goats and meet our awesome guard llama. You’ll get some great snuggles and photo ops in.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Due to the high popularity of our classes, we often have a wait list. Please give us as much notice as possible if you are not going to be able to attend so that we can try to fill your spot.
- Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the class time will receive a full refund
- Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice will only receive a refund if we can fill your spot.
