Description
Join us at the small Boulder County dairy goat farm that was the original inspiration for the creation of The Art of Cheese for this hands-on interactive cheesemaking experience!
We’ll start by meeting and interacting with our small herd of Nubian, Nigerian Dwarf and Oberhasli dairy goats including the newest spring and summer babies. You’ll get to try your hand at milking a dairy goat in our cozy milk house and then we’ll take that milk into our farmhouse kitchen and learn how to pasteurize it.
The fun and education will continue as we learn how to make several types of soft cheeses with this high quality milk including Ricotta, Chèvre, and Feta. At the end of class we’ll sit down together for a light lunch featuring our freshly made cheeses, fruit and bread with a glass of wine.
Class size is limited for a truly personal farm-to-table experience!
