“Curds & Brew” – Colby & Jack at 300 Suns – April 21

Join us for this fun and educational cheesemaking class at the hip Longmont Brewery, 300 Suns! We’ll learn how to make two relatively easy “Hard” cheeses – Colby and Monterey Jack – and then taste several varieties of each paired with a perfectly complimentary beer. From mild plain Colby and one aged with bacon, to a sharper Monterey Jack as well as a spicy Pepper Jack. Each of these cheeses are easy to make at home and you’ll leave this class knowing how.

This will be our Cheese for Charity Class this month, with half the registration fees going to help 300 Suns Brewer, Mark Lusher in his struggle with cancer.

UPDATE: Sadly, Mark passed away on April 12th so this class will be done in his honor and the entire class fee will be donated to his family to help pay for all the expenses incurred from his illness.
