Spend the day on the farm with us and learn how to make lots of delicious homemade cheeses! We’ll start the morning with a fun hands-on experience making delicious fresh Ricotta which you can enjoy with some homemade whey bread and honey. Then we’ll move on to three easy cultured cheeses, Chevre, Fromage Blanc & Feta. You can enjoy several varieties of these cheeses with some fruit and crackers along with your own sack lunch that you bring with you. After lunch you can visit with the goats while we set up for our afternoon class, the popular Mozzarella & Burrata. This full-day class will qualify you for the Bronze Level Cheesemaking Certification, too!
The cheesemaking portion of this class will be taught indoors while the goat visits will be outdoors so please plan accordingly. When indoors, in accordance with current CDC recommendations, we ask that all guests, regardless of vaccination status, wear masks except when sampling cheeses. When outdoors, please be prepared for weather changes and possible muddy paddocks!
Cheesemaking supplies and other farm-related items will be available for purchase in our classroom gift shop at the end of class.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Due to the high popularity of our classes, we often have a waitlist. Please give us as much notice as possible if you are not going to be able to attend so that we can try to fill your spot.
- Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the class time will receive a full refund
- Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice will only receive a refund if we can fill your spot.
