Description
Join us for this popular educational and tasty happy hour at Longmont’s St. Vrain Cidery! You’ll get to enjoy some delicious cheese and hard-cider pairings while watching homemade cheese being made by Kelly Liebrock of The Art of Cheese. Non-alcoholic beverage options including a zero proof slushy are available for non-drinkers. During this interactive demonstration class, you’ll learn the basic art and science behind the cheesemaking process, the equipment and key ingredients needed, and how to source the best milk for making cheese at home.
At the end of class, we’ll have some special visitors – a few of the spring goat babies from Dolly Mama’s Farmstead Goat Cheese Creamery!
You’ll leave with some great recipes and the know-how to make a few easy cheeses yourself.
Must be 21 or older to register for and attend this class (younger participants may attend with a parent and will be offered a non-alcoholic choices – minimum age 13) .
