This live, interactive course will teach you the basic art & science of home cheesemaking as well as how to make homemade ricotta. You’ll get access to a free 20-minute online mini-course that you can watch before the live session and refer back to as needed afterwards. Then on the day of the live session, we’ll make this delicious cheese together and you’ll be able to ask questions in real-time. This live session will be recorded and you can view it later as well.

- How does the science work?
- What tools & equipment do I need?
- Understanding milk
- Step-by-step instructions for making Ricotta
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Kate Johnson is a Boulder County 4-H Leader and a Goat Superintendent for the Boulder County Fair. She also happens to run a busy cheesemaking school! To help during this unprecedented time of isolation and uncertainty, Kate is offering this FREE virtual cheesemaking course for 4-H members, volunteers, and their families.
