SIMPLE SPANISH CHEESES & FESTIVE TAPAS CLASS with Goat Farm Tour! – SOLD OUT!

Join Kate Johnson from The Art of Cheese as she teaches you how to make a couple of simple Spanish Cheeses, Requeson & Queso de Carba, that you can easily make at home.  Then Denise Milligan of Spanish Sunday will give you a bunch of fun and easy recipes for turning these cheeses in Tapas – or small plates – which we’ll enjoy with some Spanish wine at the end of class. At the end of class, we’ll head down to the barnyard to visit with our friendly herd of Nubian Dairy Goats, including the spring babies (who are now teenagers)! You can interact with them as much as you’d like and take lots of pictures.

The cheesemaking portion of this class will be taught indoors while the goat visits will be outdoors so please plan and dress accordingly.

VACCINATION POLICY:  Due to the rise of Covid-19 infections and hospitalizations in Colorado, we are currently asking that only vaccinated students attend our in-person classes. We also do require wearing masks while indoors except when sampling your cheeses.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Due to the high popularity of our classes, we often have a waitlist.  Please give us as much notice as possible if you are not going to be able to attend so that we can try to fill your spot.

  • Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the class time will receive a full refund
  • Cancellations made with less than a 48 hour notice will only receive a refund if we can fill your spot.
