This class will be taught offsite at an awesome venue – Powder Keg Brewing Company in Niwot! We’ll start the evening learning how to make a delicious and easy homemade ricotta which we’ll sample fresh from the pot. Then we’ll make an easy 30 minute mozzarella, covering both a microwave method and a hot water/whey bath method. Find out what milks work best for this recipe and why, and then watch as we stretch the curd to create (and then eat!) a deliciously fresh and flavorful warm mozzarella. Finally, we’ll combine these two wonderful cheeses into an easy burrata – a tasty stuffed mozzarella treat! We’ll wrap up the evening with a scrumptious chocolate ricotta mousse.
The registration price includes the instruction, cheese tastings/samples, recipe booklet and your choice of one locally crafted beer, cider or house wine (and of course, you can always purchase a second glass)!
