Join us at the Magpie Arts Studio in Hygiene, Colorado for this informative and tasty Mozzarella cheesemaking class.  Just like creating a beautiful piece of art (this studio is home to the amazing sculpture artist, Margaret Josey-Parker), making cheese is also an art and an act of creativity.  Yes, there is science involved, which we’ll teach you about, but there is also art and intuition involved to make truly wonderful cheese.  And it’s not as hard to get started as you might think!

In this hands-on class, Kelly Liebrock, Certified Cheese Professional and Art of Cheese Instructor, will lead you through all the steps of making a big batch of Mozzarella together and then everyone will get a chance to stretch and form their own ball of cheese to take home at the end.

And after class we’ll head out to Margaret’s little barnyard where you’ll get to meet her four friendly dairy goats!
