The Art of Cheese and Cheese Importers are teaming up to bring you this fun and interactive class all about Brie and Bloomy Rind Cheeses. Certified Cheese Professional, Kelly Liebrock, will walk you through the steps for making bloomy rind cheeses from sourcing milk to setting up a cheese cave. She’ll include lots of troubleshooting tips and examples of this cheese throughout the aging process. Then resident Cheesemonger, Jimmy Faye, will lead you on a tasting of all things deliciously bloomy. You’ll leave with a true appreciation for this category of cheese AND your very own starter kit. You’ll get a jumpstart of what you need to make this cheese at home including culture, mold powder, a form, and butter muslin.
