Join special guest Denise Milligan from Spanish Sunday who will be teaching this class. She’ll share the tips and techniques she’s learned on her travels throughout Spain and visits with Spanish cheesemakers.
We’ll start with a recipe for Manchego – one of the most beloved Spanish cheeses that uses Sheep’s milk in the make. You can also make this recipe with goat milk, cow milk or a blend and we’ll give you lots of insider tips for sourcing some great local milks.
Denise will also introduce you to some other delicious Spanish Cheese recipes and we’ll sample some homemade cheeses as well as Haystack own award-winning Spanish cheese, Queso de Mano, with a nice glass of wine. You’ll go home with some tasty samples as well.
Brand new to cheesemaking? No problem – feel free to join us but you might want to watch our Free Cheesemaking 101 video just to get some background.
