Join Kate Johnson at this demonstration class at Kitchen Company in downtown Longmont and learn how to make delicious and easy cheese, Feta. For beginner cheesemakers, this is a great place to start because you won’t need a lot of fancy equipment or special ingredients to make this (in fact everything but the milk will be available to purchase at a discount right after class). We’ll cover three different ways to make your Feta: Dry-Salted, Marinated and Brined and you’ll get to sample some of each variety. We’ll tell you how to make good milk selections and cover all the basics of the art and science of cheesemaking.
