Join us for one, two or three days of cheesemaking classes along with tours and tastings at three different local breweries. Each day will begin with a hands-on cheesemaking class at the Cheese Education Center classroom located within the new Haystack Mountain Cheese Creamery. You’ll get some hands-on experience making cheeses and enjoy lots of tastings. We’ll provide a light lunch each day and then leave our classroom for an outing to a local brewery. There you’ll get to tour the brewery, sample a flight of their beers and enjoy some cheese pairings along with a little more “cheese education” at the end of the day.
Day One: Soft Cheeses (Chèvre, Fromage Blanc and Cottage Cheese) and Mozzarella, Ricotta & Burrata in the morning, then a tour and beer & cheese sampling at 300 Suns Brewery.
Day Two: Intro to Hard Cheeses and Brie & Camembert in the morning, then a tour and beer & cheese sampling at Shoes & Brews in the afternoon.
Day Three: Cheddars & Blues in the morning, then a tour and beer & cheese sampling at Left Hand Brewing in the afternoon.
