Spend the day on the farm with us and learn how to make lots of delicious homemade cheeses! We’ll start the morning with three easy cultured cheeses: Chevre, Fromage Blanc & Feta. These are great beginner cheeses and will teach you the basic science behind how most cheeses are made. You can enjoy several varieties of each of these cheeses with some fruit and crackers along with your own sack lunch that you bring with you. After lunch you can visit with the goats while we set up for our afternoon class, the popular Mozzarella, Ricotta & Burrata. In addition to all the cheese sampling during class, you’ll have some nice cheesy takaways at the end. This full-day class will qualify you for the Bronze Level Cheesemaking Certification!
The cheesemaking portion of this class will be taught indoors while the goat visits will be outdoors so please plan accordingly. When indoors, in accordance with current CDC and Boulder County guidelines, we ask that all guests, regardless of vaccination status, wear masks except when sampling cheeses. When outdoors, masks are optional but please be prepared for weather changes and possible muddy paddocks!
Cheesemaking supplies and other farm-related items will be available for purchase in our classroom gift shop at the end of class.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Due to the high popularity of our classes, we often have a waitlist. Please give us as much notice as possible if you are not going to be able to attend so that we can try to fill your spot.
Thanks! We look forward to seeing you!
