Cheesemaking 101 + Cheese & Hard-Cider Pairing Halloween Happy Hour! – 5:30 pm

Join us for this popular educational and tasty happy hour at Longmont’s St. Vrain Cidery and get your Halloween Evening off to a “grate” start! You’ll get to enjoy some delicious cheese and hard-cider pairings while watching homemade cheese being made by Kate Johnson of The Art of Cheese. During this interactive demonstration class, you’ll learn the basic art and science behind the cheesemaking process, the equipment and key ingredients needed and how to source the best milk for making cheese at home.
You’ll leave with some great recipes and the know-how to make a few easy cheeses yourself. We’ll also have Haystack cheeses available to purchase at a discounted price. And if you wear a costume, you’ll get a chance to win one of many fabulous prizes including a free cheesemaking class at the Haystack Mountain Creamery, a growler of St Vrain Cider, and more!
