7-Day Cheese Challenge! A Virtual Cheesemaking Course via Zoom
April 13, 2020 @ 11:00 am - April 19, 2020 @ 12:00 pm
FreeNOTE: Due to the overwhelming popularity of this FREE course, we are now at capacity (my Zoom plan only allows for 100 participants). If you didn’t get in this time, follow my Facebook page (@artofcheese) so that you will be alerted to the next session. Or you can e-mail me at kate@theartofcheese.com to be put on a waitlist and I will e-mail you when the next session is scheduled!
Join us for 7 Days of Virtual Home Cheesemaking utilizing the Zoom conferencing platform! I’m challenging you to learn how to make one cheese per day over the course of 7 days and I’ll walk you through it one step at a time.
The live sessions will happen at 11:00 am Mountain Time each day between April 13th and 19th. Don’t worry! If you can’t attend the session at that time, a recording will be available for you to watch at your convenience.
Here are the cheeses we’ll cover each day:
- Day One: Paneer
- Day Two: Mascarpone
- Day Three: Chevre/Fromage Blanc
- Day Four: Quark
- Day Five: Cottage Cheese
- Day Six: Feta
- Day Seven: Guido’s Italian Hard Cheese
Here’s how it will work:
Step 1: Register at the link below (even though it’s free, I need you to register so my automated e-mail system will send out all the information each day)
Step 2: Once you register, you’ll receive an e-mail with links to the first session, recipes, and a list of equipment and ingredients needed (and where to source them).
Step 3: If you don’t already have it, download the Zoom software onto your computer or personal devise. It’s easy and it’s free and you’ll find it at Zoom.us
Step 4: On April 13th at 11:00 am MT, simply click on the link to attend the session and start learning to make cheese! Or if you can’t make it at that time, watch the recorded session which will be e-mailed to you at the conclusion of each session and you can watch it at your leisure.
Step 5: At the end of each day, you’ll receive a link to the next day’s session, recipes, etc.
That’s it! It will be fun and educational, and best of all, you’ll know how to make 7 different cheeses at the end of the week!
