Goat Milk Soaps and Lotion for the Holidays! – 6:30 pm

November 16, 2017 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

$39.00

Learn how to make wonderful milk-based soaps using one of three different recipes and have them ready to give as gifts for the holidays! Our first recipe, Handcrafted Milk Soap, uses a combination of olive oil, coconut oil and palm oil to create a wonderfully moisturizing and sudsy soap. The second recipe, Old-Fashioned Milk Soap, uses lard as the main oil, along with coconut oil for a good lather. The final recipe is a simple glycerin melt-and-pour method that is easy and safe enough to do with kids! You’ll get a chance to make your own bar of this soap in class and it will be ready to go home with you at the end.  You will also receive a little gift bag with sample sizes of the other two soaps along with a recipe packet so you can make these soaps at home.  As a special bonus, you’ll also learn a quick and easy way to make goat milk lotion and you’ll get to take home a small sample bottle to keep for yourself or give as a gift.
