Join Art of Cheese Instructor Becca Heins, Certified Cheese Professional, in her home kitchen for an afternoon of hands on home cheesemaking. Today’s class will focus on an easy pressed cheese you can age in your refrigerator for as little as 7 days! In addition to learning about the ingredients and techniques to make this cheese, we’ll also discuss the equipment needed to make pressed cheeses. (Hint: you already have almost everything you need!)
In addition to hands-on cheesemaking, we will also sample different versions of this basic recipe, including some flavored varieties. An instructional packet with recipes is included. We’ll wrap up class with a relaxing wine and cheese sampling with some delicious serving ideas. Class size is limited to 6 for a truly personal home cheesemaking experience!
